A Better way to Understand PotencyCannabinoidsTestingDosages
Understanding COA's (certificates of analysis) only takes a quick understanding of what you are looking at. LifePatent products have been tested from the seed to the sealed bottle, we know what is in our products and we stand behind that with our purity guarantee that LifePatent products are the real deal. Our products carry the COA for Cannabinoids on the product page and description (which you can print right from the page). Some products also contain COA's for terpenes, solvents and/or pesticides. Due to our proprietary cGMP manufacturing practices we test before and again after bottling. It is unnecessary to repeat expensive tests for every dosage since they all come from the same raw material which has already been certified along the way at least twice to meet LifePatent's rigorous cGMP practices.
The Cannabinoid report is generally the COA most people search for when the are interested in Hemp based products. It is this report that tells us exactly how much of each tested for Cannabinoid is present in the bottle (labs currently only test for a dozen or so known cannabinoids, to date science has isolated about 80 different molecules within Hemp. The image here is only a portion, the complete report describes the product and documents the results. Here is a good place to explain that LifePatent products are calculated by including the concentration of the terpenes, which must be added for comparison with other brands for purity or potency.
Terpenes, the all natural flavorings and genetics indicators of cannabinoids, we are currently able to test for only a small amount of what we believe exist within Hemp but as time and technology advances new tests and terpenes will more than likely be discovered. Many people believe that terpenes are used for more than just flavor, we still do not know.
In addition to what Cannabinoids and terpenes Hemp provides we must check for residual solvents (does any unsafe amount of solvent remain). It is almost impossible to 100% remove every solvent used in Hemp oil manufacturing processes. While the FDA has not established guidelines for solvents and consumables for Hemp based products they have rated everything else in commerce. California code adopted the strictest standards of these FDA guidelines for consumables cannabis based products on January 1st 2018 which is the testing standard which LifePatent products pass. That being said, to pass under the new CA cannabis code with less than 10% of the allowable limit of residual solvents takes true technical skills.
